A moment ago, my idiotically crossed eyes were gawping at Lya, vaguely focusing on her collar.

When I squeezed my fuzzy eyeballs together,all the jewel-coloured diamantes on her collar looked blurrily beautiful, like some lights on a spaceship, hovering in the moonlight...
